WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY RIDDING BARN, THEOBALDS PARK, HERTFORDSHIRE: VICTORIA AND TERRI

What a day it was. It just rained continuously all through the day. We just had time to do some group shots after the ceremony in The Immaculate Conception & St. Joseph’s Church in the beautiful Hertfordshire. And then it poured and didn’t stop. This is for the second time it has happened to me since the time I’ve been photographing the weddings. But this did not stop the bride and groom to come out with us for the photos. I had a great time despite the weather. The reception took place in the Ridding Barns in Theobalds park, one of the most fantastic wedding venues.  Hertfordshire is beautiful. I love being a wedding photographer in Hertfordshire.

Overall it was a great day. Bride and the Groom looked lovely. Here are some of the pictures from the day.

PREWEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY @ DULWICH PARK, LONDON: PORTIA AND YANN

London weather had been crazy all this while. It had been warm and then cold again and now its been raining for God knows how long. It had been a fantastic day at Dulwich park. Nice and pleasant evening. I had never been to this part of London before, though I had heard of it and I always wanted to come. Portia and Yann are a lovely couple who are getting married in July in St. Paul’s Cathedral. I remember Portia telling me, when I first met her, that she might bring her pet dog along on the pre wedding shoot. I didn’t know it was a Great Dane. She looked ferocious but was such a lovely girl. At one point I was taking a picture from behind the bench where Portia and Yann were sitting and this one, she decided to jump towards me. I ruined that picture. Loved the expression on Yann and Portia’s face though. For those of you who think what happened to me. I’m still alive. She just came to me and sniffed and got a pat on her back from me.

Here are some of the pictures I love from the day.

CHEF VIVEK SINGH, CINNAMON CLUB, LONDON

Cinnamon Club is one of the finest Indian restaurants in London. Situated in the heart of Westminster, it is set in a historic grade II listed building. It is a former Westminster Library. It was a fantastic opportunity to photograph at Cinnamon Club. It was really nice to meet Chef Vivek himself. Up till now I had just read his book and admired the way he had taken the Indian cuisine to the next level. To meet the man himself was a great experience. Here are some of the pictures from the day.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY HAMPSTEAD, LONDON

If you are a Beatles fan, you just can’t miss Abbey Road in London and the famous crossing where all four of them posed for a photo. If you go there now, you will find people from all nationality posing for the photos at the same crossing. The boundary wall of Abbey Road Studios is full of graffiti. People still writing messages for their favorite band. I just loved to be there. I had a fantastic time photographing a lovely couple who live in this area. Even though the weather man had predicted rain for the whole day, we had a lovely sunshine and beautiful photos. It was a very intimate wedding with just the family. The wedding took place in one of the most beautiful churches in London, St. Mary’s Church in Hampstead, London followed by lunch in one of the finest French restaurants in London – La Chapelle by Galvin Brothers. Here are some of the beautiful images from the day.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY LONDON: MINAL AND RAJ

It was a beautiful afternoon when I arrived at Minal and Raj’s place in Wandsworth. Best part I like about their flat is a rack full of cookery books. I’m a foodie myself and love cooking as well as eating out and so do Minal and Raj. They know and have been to most of the good restaurants in London and they know their food. Majority of our conversation involved around food and restaurant.

It was a very relaxed afternoon. One of the very few brides I’ve come across who was very calm and was not stressed out about anything. Everything was just perfect.

The civil ceremony was to take place in Chutney Mary, King’s Road. One of the finest Indian restaurants in London. I just love this place. You can’t go wrong with your Indian food at Chutney Mary. It was a very small, intimate ceremony. Here are some of the photos from the day.
