I always had a knack for capturing moments – moments of bliss, moments of celebrations and moments of togetherness. Many times we experience fabulous events which leave lasting impressions on our minds but what I have believed in throughout my life is reliving those events again. To revisit those times of happiness and gaiety and to be stirred by the emotions, which once swayed our souls.
Images and scenes, locales and excitations all coalesce to animate us once again through the art of photography. I moved to Enfield 6 years ago and fell in love with the place. It gave an outlet to my passion of becoming a wedding photographer. Enfield, together with its rich historical roots and breathtaking landscapes inspires me to do what I really love doing – photographing.
In Enfield the community is fantastic. And my work is very different from other types of jobs. Being a wedding photographer in Enfield is a blessing for me. It’s right at the doorstep. This means no long drives (not that I don’t love long drives and going places) and back home after work. I am new to the place but I have noticed a new sense of elation and effervescence in the weddings here. I mean, there is so much to capture, through photography, in terms of the exuberance of the wedding locations as well as the liveliness and mirth of the people taking part.
I have not been photographing many weddings in Enfield but would love to photograph more weddings in and around this place. With sheer brilliance of planning and expertise, the weddings here are grand and inspire awe as well as glee. And capturing moments amidst all this brings out the best of my creativity, as a photographer and a participant.
